finals

who in their right mind thought finals were a good idea? they obviously forgot to ask my opinion. after 11 semesters of finals you'd think i'd be a pro, haha the jokes on you. to me it is like survival of the fittest again, who can stay up the longest studying and still function as a normal human being. when taking finals at byu you'd think a new ride at an amusment park had opened....waiting in line to take a test, talk about good times. now finals is like going back in civilization to a time when no one showered or shaved, or even changed their clothes for atleast 3 days, but don't worry as soon as finals are done everyone jumps into the shower only because they have a little time to kill before the bars officially open for the day. does life get much better? the best thing about finals however though is that you have finished and that high you get can not be duplicated. you feel like you can take on the world, only to sit down to figure out what to do first and the next thing you know it is atleast 3 hours later, were you really that tired? so basically i have one more semester behind, me and the even better news would be that i only have one more semester of tests.... there really is an end to this madness.

The new and improved Heaps House

My mom decided that after 20 years it was time for her to give the house a make over. It started with new granite counter tops through out the house and now...... she has knocked down a wall to combine the family room and living room so she is prepared for those big family parties she hopes to have one day.
So here is the room just waiting for new carpet and a new TV cabinet.

I'll give this a try

I find myself reading other people's blogs and finding them entertaining, (especially when I am bored sitting in class). So I figure it is my turn to give this a chance.... I am obviously just a beginer and it is possible that I will forget to update this often, so be patient with me. So here is an update on my life in a nutshell; I spend the majority of my time studying or telling myself that I should be studying. For Thanksgiving this year my friend and I thought it would be an "adventure" to go to a buffet at the casinos to eat, I am slightly regretting agreeing to this idea, and pretty sure that I just want to go gamble. Who needs a Thanksgiving dinner anyway? Basically I am just ready for the 3 days off of school - the joys of still being a student. I sometimes don't think I will be able to cut it once I am expected to work full-time - I have become almost dependent on that 2 hour nap in the middle of the afternoon. Besides school, my life is pretty uneventful.
